I'm a software engineer based in Chicago IL. I've been writing code for roughly 14 years at this point. I started programming when I was 11 years old when my dad sat me down in front of the family computer and showed me how to run batch scripts. I had always loved computers and technology but that moment of realizing that I could make the computer do anything I could imagine was life changing for me. Since then, I have attended the University of Illinois Chicago and graduated with a degree in computer science, created dozens of personal projects, learned multiple programming languages and frameworks, and worked professionally in the field.
